Οn behalf of the directors and the choir of CENTREs FOR ELDERLY CITIZENS (in brief KAPI) of Markopoulo Mesogeion I would like to thank the organizers of the event for inviting us to participate in it.The choir of KAPI of Markopoulo Mesogeion began in November 2002, and now comprises about 38 persons. The choir had no previous professional music knowledge or experience, but started performing on the strong will of its members and their love for group singing.
The choir made its first public appearance at the Mesogeitiko Festival of KAPI choirs in September 2003.
Additional activities of the choir include various celebrations in municipalities, schools and other organizations. Moreover, the choir has received a golden award in the National Choir Competition in the KAPI category.
