NYC’s incredible 11-day LUCKYRICE Festival, celebrating the finest in Asian food and culture.
The opening night cocktail party was taken place at the ultra-chic Bowery Hotel on April 29 and is followed by 10 more days of non-stop foodie fun. Over 20 top chefs (the likes of Jean Georges, Morimoto, Le Bernardin ) had showcased Asia’s finest flavors. Beverage choices include Sake or Shochu cocktails, fine wines, and even a Japanese Whiskey Bar.
The Grand Feast of Asian Flavors had taken place at the magnificent Mandarin Oriental ballroom overlooking Central Park. An incredible line-up of acclaimed chefs–including those from the LUCKYRICE Culinary Council and top chefs who take subtle inspiration from Asian ingredients or spices–had created special tastings that reflect their artistry while celebrating the flavors of Asia. The event was hosted by Emmy award-winning journalist Lisa Ling, this gathering was artfully presented curated pairings of food and drink.
Grand Feast was only one of the plenty events of the Asiatic Food Festival in NYC, April 29 – May 9, 2010.
